The Horn Book
July 1, 2015
With clear, bright photos and simple texts, Hansen presents useful facts about whales and dolphins; reading Whales first helps clarify the distinction between baleen and toothed whales (dolphins are the latter). There's not a ton of information, but what is here is engaging. The appended "More Facts," though random, are also illuminating: "Every dolphin has a unique dorsal fin."
