      Temporarily unemployed and dealing with a host of family issues, uberorganized Carmella Rossi is thrilled when her hot next-door neighbor Duke Bradshaw offers her the office manager's job at Twisted Steel, his up-and-coming custom motorcycle and auto build shop. Of course, having a secret crush on her boss won't make things easy, but Carmella is determined to resist--until she learns that Duke has very different ideas. VERDICT Likable protagonists, a host of difficult family issues, a delightful glimpse into the classic car restoration business, and a surfeit of superheated, page-singeing sex make this erotic romance a tempting read. Fans will be eager for the next in the series. Dane (Opening Up) lives in the Seattle area.
